While elements of each may be present in the other, true leadership in today's diverse marketplace goes far beyond the traditional skills needed to manage a team. Successful leaders are transformative, both in defining business strategy and inspiring their team to perform at their full potential.

Whether you are new to your leadership role or well-established within your organization, our MS in Organizational Leadership will prepare you with the actionable skills and insights needed to emerge as an impactful leader. The program emphasizes the critical hard and soft skills needed to thrive in a diverse organization including communication for leading individuals and teams, adaptive leadership, analyzing data to improve performance, ethics, negotiation and more.

We recognize that choosing to earn your MS in Organizational Leadership is a major decision, but encourage you to review your degree as an investment in yourself. Curriculum

The MS in Organizational Leadership program is 30 credits and may be completed entirely online. Coursework is composed of a 15-credit core curriculum that covers the essentials of effective leadership within the context of today’s marketplace and 15 credits of career-focused electives that allow you to customize your learning experience.

Admission Requirements

The MS in Organizational Leadership program offers starts in January, May and August. Admission to the program is very competitive and it is recommended that you submit your application as early in the process as possible to ensure you are able to begin in your desired semester. A completed application is required by posted deadlines and consists of the following:

  • Completed application form
  • $45 application fee
  • Three professional or academic letters of recommendation
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae
  • Personal statement
  • Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • Proof of at least four years of professional work experience
