OT*730 - Administration and Management of Systems



(3 cr.) This class introduces students to the systems involved in delivering occupational therapy services in health care, educational and community-based environments. Students examine components of service delivery including external influences, internal processes, communication, reimbursement and measurable outcomes to understand how occupational therapy services are optimized. The course addresses core management functions including planning, organizing, directing and controlling.
