How was your experience with the admissions staff?

The admissions process was very positive and simple. Everyone was very happy to answer questions and quickly respond to emails and phone messages when I had questions

Can you describe what your experience has been like in the online classroom?

The online classroom experience has been fantastic. Everything is well paced, intentional and meaningful. The online classroom has been easy to use and navigate. I have really enjoyed reading the feedback from my professors after each assignment.

I was hesitant to begin a program because I have four very young children and I did not know how any program could fit into my schedule, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the flexibility of this program.

Can you tell us what sets Quinnipiac’s program apart from some of the other programs you looked at?

The flexibility has been amazing and the professors have been really understanding of everyone's different schedules and personal situations. I have been incredibly happy with this program and I am so thankful to have found it.

Did you learn anything in any of your classes that you were able to immediately apply to your job the next day?

The special education classes have helped me tremendously as I prepare to work in special education. The program has also helped me on a personal level to better understand the legalities of special education as a parent of a child with special needs.

Did you receive a promotion or new job offer as a result of what you learned in the program?

I hope this program will give me the credentials to obtain a resource teacher position at the boarding school where we live and work as boarding faculty.
