Quinnipiac University – an official 2015 Military Friendly® School

Quinnipiac Recognized As A 2015 Military Friendly School

Each year, Victory Media assesses schools, companies and other organizations through their Military Friendly® program. Using the information they gather, they determine which establishments have made significant efforts to provide transitioning veterans with what they need to succeed after service. Quinnipiac University is proud to be included on that list in 2015.

The main goal of the Military Friendly® program is to arm service members with the accurate, trustworthy information they need to make the smartest, post-military choices possible. Victory Media was founded by veterans specifically to help other veterans and their families as they pursue opportunities in both higher education and the workforce.

The list of Military Friendly Schools® is compiled using extensive research and surveys. The results of the surveys are then independently tested by Ernst & Young LLP. Advisory Boards with industry experts from across the country help determine the criteria, and each year participating schools are held to a higher standard than the previous year.

Military support on campus, academic credibility, percentage of military service, academic credit for military service and tuition assistance are just a few of the criteria taken into account when determining which schools will be included on the list. This year, a survey of more than 4,000 student veterans was included in the list criteria to ensure the most authentic feedback on the veteran student experience at institutions across the country.

Quinnipiac University provides both active military and veterans with the tools, resources and support they need for success in today's workforce. Find out more about benefits for active duty military and veterans at Quinnipiac University.
